Otis Alexander

Principal Cyber Security Engineer

Otis Alexander is a Principal Cyber Security Engineer at MITRE and has worked in the areas of security engineering and research, analytic development, and adversary modeling and emulation. Otis is a co-creator of ATT&CK for ICS and has been leading the project since its inception. He also leads an effort to bring MITRE ATT&CK Evaluations to ICS security vendors providing anomaly and threat detection solutions. He advocates for network and host visibility in operational technology environments to increase the situational awareness of defenders. Otis holds a BS and MS in Computer Science and Systems from the University of Washington.

Principal OT Cyber Security Engineer

John Allen spent 23 years with GSK focused predominantly in Manufacturing IT, where he led business partnering, program management and professional services to GSK’s manufacturing operations, including enterprise and shop floor systems such as MES, Lab, Maintenance, Asset Management, Calibration, Quality, Serialisation and Warehouse Management. In the last two years at GSK, John established and led the OT Cyber Security Transformation across all of GSK’s plant, labs and R&D. John now uses his wealth of knowledge and experience within Pharma and Process Manufacturing to lead the strategic development of OT Cyber Security and Digital Transformation Programmes within large blue chip and globally operating companies.
